It now runs on a 3 kWh lithium-ion battery. It is fitted with a 4 kW BLDC motor and comes with two riding modes: ECO and SPORT. The top speed of Chetak is about 60 kmph. The Chetak gets a Vespa-like suspension setup in the form of a front trailing link suspension, and 12-inch alloy wheels fitted with MRF Zapper tires. On the Premium variant, the Chetak gets a disc brake up front and a drum brake at the back. The Urbane trim gets drum brakes at both ends.
